We base the train in a metallic silver and then go over it with 2 transparent washes to give it that black metal look. We then paint the letters and badges gold and give them a black wash. The coal pile gets a black wash then a dry-brush gray over it. The horns on top of the train are painted a fire red. Finally the tracks are painted the same brown and silver as out track mod.
